about

“Fragile" is the fifth Artificial Waves studio album and it is a very important album for us. It has been developing for a long time in parallel with the ongoing changes in the world. We started working on the material for the "Fragile" album in 2019, these were the first rehearsals, and in 2020, during the pandemic, the first demos appeared. Due to the pandemic, there was a break in rehearsals, but it allowed us to work at home studios. Emotionally, there is a very wide spectrum. This is probably why the album has one of the softest and lightest tracks along with dark heavy riffs.

The album starts with "Rustling Trees" referring to the usual way of life, continues with the gloomy "Ocean of Darkness" built on a riff and characterizing the complete destruction of the familiar world and followed by "Endless Dunes" - this is emptiness and uncertainty. "Tenderness" is the album's waterline track, symbolizing warmth and hope. The album ends with a long multi-section track "Delicate Harmony" - it's a long way to a new way of life”.

“Fragile” includes five tracks, all material was self-recorded and produced. As usual for Artificial Waves music besides heavy and lush ambient guitars all tracks include electronics, piano and strings making overall sound deeper and adding details so every time you listen to it, new things are coming up.
